We are starting the new year with a full calendar of in-person group runs and classes at IMPACT!
There will be Wednesday night group speed workouts and strength training classes, and Saturday morning long runs. If you’re not signed up for a training package, you can sign up for individual group workouts or pay by the month. In-person drop-ins are also welcome, can you can pay with cash or card.
Saturdays: We’ll meet in the hallway outside IMPACT on the 6th floor of HarborCenter. You can park in the ramp for free–tell the attendant you’re going to IMPACT. It’s best to take the elevators on the Main Street side of the building. There are locker rooms with digital lockers available for use while running. Warm-ups will wrap up around 8am, at which point Melina will go over the routes and we’ll head out to run! All runners are required to sign in before leaving, and maps will be provided for all routes. There will be water available every few miles. Runners are required to wear masks while indoors, but not during the run.
*Please note that our January 8th group run will take place at Chestnut Ridge Park. We’ll warm-up at 8:15am and begin running shortly after. The sign-in sheet will be inside the casino, and all routes will start from there. We’ll run mostly on the roads outside the park. various distances will be planned and water and maps will be provided. Runners must wear masks when inside the casino.
Wednesdays: Warm-ups start at 5:50pm. We meet in the hallway on the ground floor of HarborCenter. You can park in the ramp for free–tell the attendant you’re going to IMPACT. There are open cubbies you can use to store your things while running, but if you have anything of value, please keep it in your car or utilize the lockers on the 6th floor. Warm-ups will wrap up around 6pm, at which point Melina will go over the routes and we’ll head out to run! All runners are required to sign in before leaving, and maps will be provided for all routes. Runners are required to wear masks while indoors, but not during the run. Most nights will have 3, 4, 5, & 6 mile routes, and the option of either a casual run or a speed workout. All runs should wrap up around 7pm, and then strength class begins at 7:15. Our classes are on the ground floor space, led by an athletic trainer from IMPACT, and are for runners of all fitness levels.
