Next Level Running is Buffalo’s newest short- and long-distance training experience. In partnership with IMPACT Sports Performance and operating out of the new state-of-the-art training facility at HarborCENTER in downtown Buffalo, Next Level provides Buffalo’s only fully-customized training experience.

Next Level Running is committed to training athletes to reach their individual goals, with personalization and one-on-one attention as core values of the program. Runners can join anytime, at any fitness level, for any goal race. Online training plans are also available.

Next Level Running is led by Melina Buck, a 9x marathoner and 12x half-marathoner including five NYC Marathons and 2 Boston Marathons. Melina has coached over 950 members of Buffalo’s running community and has trained runners for every distance from 5k to full marathons. With a background in exercise and sports psychology and a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Melina’s training techniques are cultivated with a balance of science and true passion for the sport of running.

Customized Training
Next Level training is committed to a personalized experience for every athlete. Melina will work one-on-one with every athlete to develop a program specific to their level, goals, budget and availability. Customized plans may include the following elements:

  • One-on-one informational meeting/consultation
  • Custom training plans
  • Distance group runs – Saturday mornings
  • Speed group runs – Tuesday evenings
  • Strength training classes at IMPACT Sports Performance – Tuesday & Thursday evenings
  • One-on-one weekly coaching sessions
  • Customized nutrition planning
  • Gait analysis

Introductory Distance Training Packages

To celebrate its launch, Next Level is offering special introductory pricing on full or half marathon training bundles.

All programs are 14-weeks long and kick-off on Saturday, February 14th at 8 a.m.

Programs include water stops for distance runs and a Next Level technical training shirt.
