Next Level Running is led by Melina Terranova, a 20x marathoner including thirteen NYC Marathons and two Boston Marathons. Melina has coached hundreds of members of Buffalo’s running community and beyond, training runners for every distance from sprints to ultra-marathons. With a background in exercise and sports psychology and a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Melina’s training techniques are cultivated with a balance of science and true passion for the sport of running.

What the runners say:

“Melina is smart, educated, and experienced. Her advice is technical and effective. She has the education and training to maximize your training. She has the experience of running and racing to guide you. And she’s got a ton of heart, because she loves running, and she cares that you do too.”    -Brenna

“Melina is incredibly supportive but not afraid to push you to your own individual limits. I know I would never do the speed work on my own in the same way and doing so has helped me increase my pace in racing and every day running. As I am a goal-focused person, having a plan to work towards is very motivational.”  -Rosanne

“Melina has given me the tools to be a smarter, more efficient runner.  Imparting her extensive knowledge, personal success – and proven training plans – she inspires and encourages, creating individual training plans and working with you throughout the plan to truly find out what it is you want to accomplish with your goals.”  -Linda
